Lifetime BMXer, Event Announcer, TV Host, & Event Promoter can be found producing events in NYC when he’s not traveling the world as the voice of the largest events in Action Sports.

Over the last decade Darryl has announced hundreds of BMX events from the most core (Texas Toast, Rebel Jam) to the largest festivals (Fise Montpellier) which has over 600,000 fans in attendance.

Darryl Nau is currently the voice of bmx for X-GAMES (US & SYDNEY) , VANS BMX PRO CUP WORLD TOUR, FISE WORLD SERIES, UCI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, SIMPLE SESSION, SUMMER SESSION, BATTLE OF HASTINGS and JAMCATION.


Darryl has also been a key member on the Bikes Over Baghdad USO style BMX tour throughout the Middle East for the US Troops which was documented by ESPN for both print and video.

In 2019 Darryl will be traveling the globe for with major BMX Freestyle events as the bicycle community prepares for the inaugural induction of BMX into the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

In addition to his personal BMX event, Jamcation which be taking place in September in Spain at the beautiful Eurocamp he will be producing the First Annual North East Riders Dinner which will focus on bringing together the riding community during the winter months.

Trail Blazin’ (1994)- Films, Edits and releases on VHS the first ever all BMX trails video documenting the legendary East Coast trail scene. Featuring Van Homan, Robbie Morales and others.

Seek & Destroy (1998)- Creator of “Top 3 BMX video of all time”- RideBMX Magazine

BLACKEN (2001-’04) Founder of Alternative Lifestyle Clothing Brand. Distributed internationally in 7 countries. One of the first brands to be sold by Vice and be featured in their NYC fashion shows.

Shit Hammered (2002-’07) Produced and DJ’d the legendary party in NYC. Voted by Paper Magazine as best weekly party. Featured in NYTimes, Last Nights Party and TheCobraSnake.

Peace of Pizza (2007)- Produced USA’s first ever Nu Rave party in the states, flying over DJ Niyi from the UK.

Fuel TV (2009)- “Darryl Nau’s Day In The Life” Props BMX feature airs on Fuel TV as the highest rated and most aired BMX segment.

BMX Announcer (2011-present)- Announcer, Emcee and TV host for hundreds of the worlds biggest action sports events around the world.

Tender Trap (2012-’18)- owner of NYC Bar / Night Club- selected as Best New Bar in America by Details Magazine, NYTimes and best of New York by Vice.
